How These 4 Subliminal Messages are Used in Popular Music

“But what becomes of the divinity when it reveals itself in icons, when it is simply incarnated in images as a visible theology? Or does it volatilize itself in the simulacra that, alone, deploy their power and pomp of fascination – the visible machinery of icons substituted for the pure and intelligible Idea of God?”
Jean Baudrillard

Subliminal Messages Decoded

subliminal messages within popular music evoke goddess

I was an aspiring rapper studying The Law of Attraction in order to increase my chances of success, until I discovered that Popular Music’s Verse, Chorus, Bridge [VCB] form, is a simulation of Soul: Voice, Consciousness, Body form.

Soul is the creator of our reality. Why?. . . Voice speaks things into existence, Consciousness because what we focus on grows and the Body through physical labor.

The mnemonic I use to remember the analogy between the structure of a song and the anatomy of Soul is: Intro:Intent, Chorus:Consciousness, Verse:Voice and Bridge:Body.

Each part of the song subliminally mimics a function within Soul. Intents are emotionally charged, the conscious mind is the thinking mind, intuition is also known as the inner voice and the body has five senses. Emotion, thought, intuition and sensation are the four functions of Soul, which overall connect us to our dreams and intentions.

While subliminal messages are used to bypass the conscious logical mind and flow into the subconscious emotional mind, simulations are used to program the subconscious.

In closing, the 4 subliminal messages tell you what to feel, what to think, what to say and what to do.

Defining Simulation

Traditionally, a simulation is an imitation of a system or process used for studying or training.

However, Baudrillard suggested that a simulation is a reconstruction of reality, made up of copies that imitate copies instead of an original. He believed it was due to the inability of consciousness to distinguish between reality and a representation of reality.

Case in point. . .

EMU Export was an Australian Beer company turned wild life conservationist. They packaged their beers in a brown stubby bottle with a raised spotty textured glass. As the people of Aus became drunk they began to liter, throwing their bottles around the desert. Native to the Australian deserts is an orange dimpled insect called the Jewel Beetle. The females are especially round and ridged. When these bottles started to inhabit the desert, the male beetles became intoxicated by their resemblance to the female jewel. As a result, they triggered a super stimulus in the male beetle making them more attracted to the bottles than their female counterparts. Like most species these characteristics are a preference in sexual selection, as they signify a mate that has reached reproductive age, has good health and is thus an optimal breeder. As the bottles became objects of affection for the male beetles, the population of Australian Jewel Beetles greatly declined. The imitation of the female Jewel Beetle throughout the western deserts of Australia placed this species at risk of extinction, until the government ordered the company to repackage their brand.

Similarly. . .

Wether by divine design or scientifically selected, this is what becomes of the divinity. It does not remain the supreme authority. VCB form is an imitation of our divine nature, the ability to create our own reality.

Music merely symbolizes the idea of divinity as a means of exploiting our Soul’s urge, but this intense expression of our creative ability isn’t used to enhance our divine power, it reverses it.

A Simulation of Divinity

Jean Baudrillard’s Four Stages of Simulacra introduced a method for identifying simulations. Using Baudrillard’s formula, I have constructed an example called A Simulation of Divinity, which is about the potential of simulations such as VCB form to disconnect us from our divine nature.

  1. In the First Stage of Simulacrum & Simulation The Representation is a True Copy of a Reality (VCB Form):
    • Around 1970 Popular Music evolves into Verse, Chorus, Bridge form, an instrumental sound simulation of Soul; Voice, Consciousness, Body form. Soul is the creator of our reality. Voice speaks things into existence, Consciousness because what we focus on grows and the Body through physical labor. This is the true nature of human reality.
  2. In the Second Stage of Simulacrum & Simulation The Representation is Hidden and Altered to be an Untrue Copy (Overdub/Artist):
    • The instrumental is overdubbed with sound vocals diverting attention to the artist (the false prophet, infiltrator or plant). A lesser copy of reality is vocally projected and given exclusivity. Language is used to obscure the true nature of reality.
  3. In the Third Stage of Simulacrum & Simulation The Representation Hides The Non Existence of a True Reality, while Pretending that it is (Mass Media Coverage of The Copy):
    • Glamorized by popularity and prosperity, fame and fortune, the true nature of human reality is masked by the glorification, mass production and mass consumption of a lesser copy or lesser truth. In order to sustain a desire for glory, artist fabricate a false reality that is broadcast as real. False ideas, beliefs and narratives circulate repeatedly, until they become the mainstream of consciousness and dominate way of thinking.
  4. The Fourth Stage of Simulacrum & Simulation is The System of Simulation/ Pure Simulacrum Where The Copy is All that Exists & The Fake Produces The Real:
    • In order to achieve an innate human desire for love, acceptance and abundance aspiring artists take on someone else’s version of reality and claim it as their own (they adopt the mainstream way of thinking about the world). In this way, the feedback loops to our Soul are reversed. Every time this lesser copy of reality is simulated it produces and perpetuates a cultural identity that proceeds true knowledge of self, as the lesser copy spirals into a seemingly absolute truth, a viscous cycle, a chain reaction and a crippling effect where such representation imitate reality so well it threatens to replace it. Arts like music no longer reflect life, life reflects music. Gaining the ultimate power to shape a society in the reflection of music. We copy copies that were never true to begin with getting us further and further away from the actual truth about reality.
